National Gallery of London - Chronicles of Emptiness is an over painted book, the book being "Art Treasures of the National Gallery London" by Sir Philip Hendy published by Abrams 1955. I have drawn painted and collaged into each page as well as working on the verso of many of the tipped in plates. It is my twentieth over painted book work. This work is a sketch book, a memoir, a journal and a conversation with history. I will be posting new images each day.

Conversion
You may wish to balance an idea's worth before praying to the Shamanistic spirit for conversion;
An idea's worth, on balance, is often judged whilst afloat in the narcissistic pool, and measured by the glow of the bush, burning or smoldering. Yet in our lucre driven times Shamanistic spirit is often overridden by money mongers interested only in conversions to Pound Sterling or U.S.$.
